Working in teams, your students can build model solar cars and hold races. They will have lots of fun while learning about solar energy. The station includes 10 solar panels, plus wheels, transmissions and many other parts that you will need to assemble your model solar car. The station provides great instructions from the National Renewable Energy Laboratories on how to use the Junior Solar Sprint program in your classroom. The station also provides instructions on how to hold a solar car race at your school and how to order more materials if you would like to have your own set of Junior Solar Sprint materials.
